What happened on July 19, 2024?
I think by now we have all heard of the “CYBER ATTACK” that is affecting banking, airline, and other systems today.
I just wanted to pass around some information that I have gathered regarding the current situation.
It turns out that the issue is caused by a faulty software patch that was released overnight. This is a third-party manufacturer that sells security and anti-virus software called CloudStrike. Their software is called Falcon.
I just wanted to assure all of you that this will not directly affect your computers or devices. DTN Enterprise does not resell and does not use this software on any of your systems.
That being said, there is no guarantee that this issue will not affect your daily operations today.
